ORIGIN OF OUR COMPANY

Two years ago, I formed a company name in my head- Hockey Is My Country Clubโ„ข LLC. It stemmed from our son's rigorous travel hockey schedule slowly pulling us away from our club's numerous events over the years. When friends would ask why I wasn't around the club anymore, I would joke, "Hockey is my country club"- Same fees. Same social life. Just colder with a hockey glove smell and the Zamboni driver flex.

Concurrently, I thought about the first product to launch under the business umbrella, and paired up with our 16UAA travel hockey son (the Mensch) to design and create, Rinkside Mahjongโ„ข the first fully-illustrated hockey-themed American mahjong set.

We are excited to drop something unique for the hockey & mahjong communities as the puck drops on a new NHL season.
